I can only find how to do that with a functional radio. Because it is a 2 part update, and Uconnect REFUSES to release it to the public, most dealers are too lazy to follow the directions which requires an update to 17.43.01 or 18.01.35, so that the file system update will allow for the current software update to 18.45.01, whatever it is up to now. If you see this screen, please accept the update before purchasing your Map Update. I did find and try what might be the latest software on a USB stick but the radio apparently doesn't go out and look for it on it's own. Upload the latest software US Market vehicles with the Uconnect® 6.5AN (RA4) will receive an over-the-air software update if it is not running the latest version of software (see example image below).
